Chayyim ben Joseph Vital, Sefer Ets Chayyim. Koretz, 1785

Vital's elaborations on the teachings of his master Isaac Luria circulated under the title Ets Chayyim in various redactions. This edition was printed in the formerly Polish (now Ukrainian) town of Koretz, where four Jewish printing houses had been established in the last quarter of the eighteenth century, mainly issuing Chassidic and kabbalistic texts.
