Exhibition catalogue on the Christian Kabbalists by François Secret. Secret traces the development of Christian Kabbalah since its inception in the Renaissance, when humanists such as Pico regarded Kabbalah as part of prisca theologia, ancient theology, making it possible to see Jewish mysticism in the syncretic context of the Hermetism, Pythagoreanism and (Neo-) Platonism which were also being re-discovered and explored at the time. The catalogue contains 48 items.
